Man I am such an idiot sometimes. Tonight I deleted my whole entire latest version of this site. Yep, I copied the wrong folder over to the wrong place. Thank god for temporary internet files. I salvaged my css file out another computer so it wasn't too bad. Making the same changes over again sucks pretty bad though.
In other news NoWaterBall.com is officially on another site's banner rotation. Check out
BigLanLanParty and you may just see our banner.

It's here! Hurray! Im very pleased with my new digital camera. It's very fast, and so far takes great pictures. Now to play with it some more.
On a side note, the Red Wings dont start game 3 until 10pm EST. WTF is up with that ? Honestly do we care if the people in Canada have to watch an early game? Its the NATIONAL Hockey League, as in United States National, not the Canadian Hockey League. Jeeeesh

Well it was a pretty good weekend. I Played my first round of golf (
57), looked at a few houses, went out for breakfast, hung out with Anne and Maggie, saw my parents, and even got to drink a beer or two. The crazy part was definately repairing a usb flash drive with some electrical tape and my fingers. I kept the wires together just long enough to get the files of off there. Now if only the rain hadn't washed away all the weed killer I put on the lawn. Oh well.

Yeah today was a little crazy around the good ol Firehouse. Some derranged lunitic called in a hostage and murder situation to the police about 2 houses away from our office. Police responed offcourse, Nate got a few
pics. Turned out to be a
false alarm. Oh well, at least everyone is safe, and maybe the lunitic can sober up in jail.

I dont know what is worse, looking at a bunch of houses and not finding anything you like, or looking at a bunch and finding 4 you really do like, but dont know which one you like the best. Well last night was the latter. We looked at another 6 houses and 4 of which we liked, 2 of which we realllllly liked. The problem is neither I nor Anne can figure out which we like more. Both seem to have a lot of space which is very nice compared to where we are now. I think the bigger problem may end up being selling our current home.
In other news, I can no longer waste away my days and nights in the world of Azeroth. Yep that's right Ive officially quit World of Warcraft. It was a good run, but I guess it's time to move on.
In other other news, I can't wait to get the new digital camera I ordered. 7.2 Megapixels of goodness. Mmmmmm yummy.

Did the Easter Bunny visit your house today ? I think he is making a late stop next week for Maggie. It's some pretty crappy weather for Easter though. Wish it was a little bit warmer and that I was out on the golf course.

Anne has to work this weekend so Maggs and I are on our own when it comes to food during the day. So Maggs decided to take me out to breakfast at the Hardware Cafe, which just opened a few weeks ago, and is about 2 blocks away. Man I wish I would have went there sooner. It was awweeeesome. I got the Westsider (scrambled eggs, kielbasa, onions, green peppers, and cheese) with some hash browns and toast. Doesn't that make you hungry ?? Yeah, Im stuffed.

Google really impresses me. This week they launch their
calendar and today I find a link to their
top 100 video list. Some very cool stuff to watch there. The calendar really blows me away though.

Saw 6 houses tonight around the Northern Grand Rapids area. A couple people walked through ours while we were gone. Yawn, nothing very positive. Hope something turns up soon.

Anne and I had a great time this weekend at the
Rohn House, a small Bed and Breakfast in the northern tip of Michigan. After we dropped of Maggie at Grandma's on friday we headed straight to Turtle Creek Casino. Let me tell you one thing, I will
never go there again. We had the worst luck possible ! In a span of about 6 roulette rolls we hit double zero twice, and with the last 7 dollars in chips that we had, I placed one bet on a blackjack table and the dealer flopped 21 ! All within about 10 mins. I turned to Anne and said we are leaving,
now.
After that we took the long way up the west coast of Michigan to the B&B. It was a pretty scenic drive. We got to house, met the hostess (is that what they are called at a B&B ?), and saw the place. It was really nice. There are some pics up of it on my latest flickr
upload.
After the short meet and greet we headed out for some food at the Brown Trout. It was a decent place, but thumbs down on the bread. We headed back and called it a night.
Saturday we hit up some of the local towns and did some window shopping. Anne got some stuff for herself and Maggie, I got a book. That night we went to Vivios' for dinner. While it's another local joint, it was awesome! Great food, drinks, and service. I'd recommend it to anyone who is traveling up around Indian River.
We made it home sunday in great time thanx to the no traffic on I-75. Don't let Anne tell you otherwise.
It was a great weekend, but we were both happy to see the little one when we got home. A big thanx goes out to both set of grandparents for watching her while we were gone.

Florida dominated UCLA right out of the gate last night. I found myself flipping around and watching something about exploring the wreckage of an old battleship in the middle of the ocean via a remote diver robot thing. Yeah, dont ask why. I was waiting for Anne to get home from work. The point is that the game sucked. Such a good start to the tournament, but such a bad ending too.

Ok I thought it was bad enough when the time changes, I always feel crappy because of waking up earlier / later, whichever it is. For instance this morning I walked outside, locked the door, and forgot my keys. But apparently that is nothing. Rascheed Wallace missed the first 3 quarters of the Pistons' game yesterday because of it. Mind you it was an afternoon game, it probably started around 1pm. This man gets paid millions of dollars to do one thing, play basketball, and he can't remember to set his clocks ?
Oh yeah one more thing. For all you people in Indiana that just decided to join the day light savings thing for the first time ever... I hate you. What ? were you feeling left out because the rest of the country has been doing it for 40 years !!?! Suddenly you must conform to the rest of us ? Now I have to go fix a bug in my timezone code because you all want to be like the rest of us. Thank you very friggin much.
EDIT: Mark sent me this
link. I really really hate DST now.

Yes, that is correct. We are now officially selling our house. GRAR link to come. 824 Valley has served us well for over 2 years, but since the family has grown to three, space has become an issue. So if you know anyone that needs a great starter home go ahead and give us a call!
