What a weekend

Well it was a good Memorial Day weekend, got to play with Maggie a lot, played some golf yesterday morning, did a little grilling. It was also a hot Memorial Day weekend. Golf tonight is going to be very very hot. We had our new house inspection this morning. It took over 2 hours! At least the guy was thorough. No major major problems. Oh yeah we bought a new refridgerator yesterday, that was fun. Other than that Im just trying to stay cool.

Well hopefully this doesnt jinx us, but I snuck in the house today to find out the size that we had available for a refridgerator in the kitchen. We finally heard back, and guess what !? They accepted the counter-counter offer! Thats right start the packing! We are moving! (well if the inspections go through)

Havent heard a single thing yet back from the bank. Anne and I are definately not happy with the lack of response. This sucks, by friday the whole deal could be off or we could be homeless. Hurrrrrray. At least golf was decent last night.

The Pistons just looked tired last night, game 2 I predict a win.

Yeah so the bank countered our offer. Damn those greedy bastards! Oh well, we countered back.

The golf page is updated. It's not finished yet, but at least I have the correct tee times and some points up there now.

Finally, FINALLY the Pistons show some guts and play a decent game. I dont know whats wrong with them. They should be killing the Cavs! Oh well at least it has been good drama, and something to watch at night.

Keep your fingers crossed for us, we are awaiting to hear back on an offer for our new house. Anne and I really hope it happens.

If there are no more updates on the site after this one, that means that I didnt make it through Mark's bachelor party. I should be ok, I think.

Our First Offer

Well,

We got our first offer on our house. However, it was really too low. Based on that we are not too excited about it. We shall see how they take our counter offer. At least one offer is better than zero offers. It's still a little exciting :) (I think that's the most I've ever typed the word offer)

Update: Holy rusted metal Batman! They accepted our counter-offer! Time to buy a new house!

And its fricking 38 degrees out and raining right now, with a wind chill of 31. Does anyone else think that this is odd ?? Jeesh we should be worried about skipping work and making an early tee time by now, not worried about whether or not we should turn the furnace back on!

Also in the past two days I have seen more accidents  on my way to and from work then in the past two years. Slow down people! Or at least move over so I can get by faster.

More House Hunting tonight. Im not that excited about it anymore I guess. After you look at so many they start looking alike. Our open house is tomorrow from 3 -5. I hope we get some traffic in this craptastic weather.

This tennis game is awesome. Reply with your  high scores if you think you can beat 48. Well the house hunt continues, we've found some we liked and found some we didnt. Were mainly worried about selling our current house in this slow market.

Lots of Activity

Well lets see, this past sunday, my dad helped me break down the bar,..moment of silence.... and yesterday I took a day off from work to completely gut the garage. We chucked almost everything that wasnt nailed  down in there. It took two trips to the dump to get it all. Results shown here.

And it's a good thing we did all that because later that day we had some prospective buyers come through the house and they are really interested. They seemed to like how clean the house was (You can thank Anne for that).

All this was done while I spent way too much time on the phone trying to fight an IT Consultant headache fire. People are dumb sometimes.

And ofcourse to complete the day our Golf League got rained out. bah. However, that brings me to the big announcement.

The Golf League Calendar (right) and Golf page are officially up, as well as a new forum! Hurray!!

Oh yeah, annnnd we found out that we are having an open house May 13. Tell all your friends it's not too late to get a great deal on 824 Valley.
