If you own a Treo 650 from Verizon try this out. Type in #*#33284#. That should bring you into debug mode. The top number RSSI value is the measure of your signal strength. Pretty cool. Now if only I could figure out why mine is reporting in negative numbers...

EDIT: oh...The RSSI Value is the received dB strength. It will be expressed as a negative number somewhere between -40 (great signal) and -100s (poor signal.)

According to this. The price for Vista Ultimate, Microsoft's next operating system is going to come in at a whopping $450. Hmm Mac OS X is about $120, and more and more Linux distrobutions are coming out priced at $0. If only I could play games easily in Linux...

Another movie!


Helped Jay move in yesterday, man what an exhausting day it was. Rich brought the biggest trailor I have ever seen, and boy did we use it. I dont know how we would have moved without it. Today I am sore from it. Also it was fertilizer day, I laided down 1500 sq ft of Scott's Turf Builder 2 with Weed Control. Go go Weed Control! Let's hope for no rain.

For those of my consulting / recruiting buddys out there this is a real good read.

Tonight my DVR didnt work for the one show that I really wanted to see, the Treasure Hunters finale. I am pissed. It probably overheated because the moronic comcast guy put the dvd player on top of the box and not beneath it. I powered it down and got it working again but damnit now I have to resort to downloading the torrent of the internet. Im not even going to go into all the other problems I have had with them at this house, because the more I think about it the more I get pissed.

Today at work was an honest to goodness good day. Yes that is why Im writing it down.

Tomorrow I shall golf. Oh golfing gods please bestow upon me great swinging power so that I shall strike the golf ball ever so mightlly. Everyone knows I need all the help I can get.

Well the Maggs got her first dose of the honolulu blue and silver, and she had a new outfit on to go with it. She's looks so darn cute I think. It was only a pre-season game but man it's always nice to see the Lions win. My parents and sister came over to celebrate the start of the Lion's season as well. We ordered pizza and drank cold Miller Lite. Here's to a new season and hopefully more wins to come for Detroit!

I am a closet Tigers fan. I refuse to tell one person that I like baseball. Why you ask? Because it's fricking booooooring. But the last two nights I have been mezmerized infront of the TV watching the 8th - 9th innings of the games vs the Twins. Now unfortunately they have lost those games. Maybe I'm jinxing them, maybe if i stop watching they will go back to being the best team in baseball. I hold entire control over the destiny of the Detroit Tigers.... maybe.

In all honesty I am just passing the time until it's the most wonderful glorious time of year, no not christmas, not my birthday.... football season. I CANNOT wait. The Lions are on friday in their first pre-season game. Im excited.  I predict 8 - 8 and for a bunch of losers over the last oh 50 years that would be pretty good.

On a side note this is just too much fun Goggles.

Yes there is a football on tonight! 8:30 pm est. The Hall of Fame game, Eagles vs Raiders. I know it's only pre-season, but man Im excited! Other than that it has been a pretty quiet weekend. Working on home projects and stuff, and I actually got to sleep in late today. Haven't done that in a long time.

Did I mention it was hot today? I almost didnt make it through 9 holes today with dan and my dad. I shota 53 but definitely struggled. Oh yeah it was hot. Not too much else going on besides work, which has proved interesting over the last couple of days. What don't you people understand, I'm a people person! Where's my stapler? No really I just sit at my desk and do nothing.

Sometimes I wish it was that easy.
