Super Sports Saturday

Yesterday was quite the day for a sportsfan like myself. The Red Wings won an important game 5. The Pistons beat...no... destroyed... the Bulls. The Tigers won. The 133rd annual running of the Kentucky Derby had a nice come from behind win. And if you managed to stay up late enough the De la Hoya vs. Merryweather fight was on the internet for free. Yes free I said.

You see that is why I love those crazy tubes that they call the internets. In about 5 mins worth  of searching I found a nice site that lets anyone view sporting events around the world  for free pretty much. It's a p2p video sharing site that uses the same technology that file sharers use, but  it streams live video instead of files. With about 3 installs and a few mins worth of reading I clicked the "watch the fight" link, and boom, I had live streaming video of the fight as it happened. The player even let me record the stream. So if you missed it I have saved on this here hard drive. Pretty darn cool.

It's a new Golf Season

.....Finally. The weather cleared up enough for Dan and I to make up our league scores. These first couple of weeks set up our handicap, so I have no idea why I did so well. Other than the fact that it was a perfect 70 and sunny day, no other people were on the course, and I had two miller lite's to keep me company. Let's hope that all the running and getting in shape keeps my golf game improving as well.

Speaking of running I have really slacked this week. I've been really tired from the Vegas Vacation, which I will post about next. The big race is only a week away too.
