Maggie's 2nd Birthday Party

A good time was had by all I think. We only had one minor problem, and that is when you are going to grill burgers and dogs you need propane in the tank to make the gas grill actually grill the food. So after a 15 min delay and a new tank of gas we were back on schedule. Maggie got a tricycle from us and a cool writing/drawing/coloring desk from Grandma and Grandpa and a cool little schoolbus from Aunt Christie. I think she really enjoyed the happy birthday singing as you can see below.

Maggie turns two in a couple of hours of writing this. Tonight we went shopping and got her a tricycle. So far she loves it, and we havent even taken it outside yet. She does not like the helmet though. Pictures and videos to come.

It's a Girl!!!

Audrey Marie McKeiver, born Aug 25th, 2007 @ 11:41 am. Audrey weighed 7 lbs., 8 ozs. and was 19 in. long. I have some great pictures and videos, however I left the camera at the hospital. So they will be coming in the next few days.

Hello faithful Mcbeev.com readers. I justed wanted to plug an event that BizStream is sponsoring tomorrow in Sparta, MI from noon - 5pm. GeekAid (geekaidmich.com) is a very cool charity event that benefits WMCAT. Basically we are trying to raise money during a concert with some great local bands that goes towards getting kids involved in technology. So if your not busy head on up to Sparta and enjoy the music, eat the food, and drink the beverages with all of us in the BizStream crew.

So I was out cutting the grass last night, for a good hour and 45 mins because it was so long (Some day I swear I will buy a rider). I was in the front yard, on the part closest to the street. When I saw something jump from the grass as I rode over it with the mower. It was a small snake, and I clipped it's head off. No big deal I thought at least I got it before it got me. So I finished cutting and was sweeping off the sidewalk, when I saw another one. This one was a little bigger and hissing at the broom. So I swept it to the street and it was pissed!. It was all coiled up pointing it's teeth at me. First bee's, now snakes, man alls I wanted to do was cut the grass, not deal with wild life.
