Wow I just noticed I havent posted a blog post in um... forever. So yeah a lot is going on. MrsMcbeev just had surgrery to correct a foot/leg problem, and she is recovering nicely from it. Maggs is attempting to lose the diapers. Audrey is talking and has to do everything that Maggie does. I'm busy at work, and hoping MSU makes it to the final four in this year's tournament. Also insanely busy with work. 

We heard rumors from Grandma about Audrey walking before. But tonight it is official! Now it's all she wants to do. It's really funny because if she falls down she just says Go! Go! Go! until you start her off again.

Yeah she finally crawled through it for the first time. There are more pics of her in the flickr set that show her progress. Now that she is crawling things are starting to get interesting. The gate upstairs is definitely up.

Plus I think she looks really cute in this picture. We took it while Maggie was sleeping, so she had all the toys downstairs to herself.

After a couple of weeks hemming and hawing about what to do for a swing set for the kids, we finally broke down and bought a swing set at Menards. Wednesday we should be a proud owner of this: http://www.playstarinc.com/ps/legend-fv.asp. I also got a new pair of running shoes. Im too lazy to put pics up, but Im really hoping that they can cure my knee pain. The guy at Gazzelles thinks it's tendonitis...awesome.

I was also scheduled to go on a bike ride with Mark and Cory today, but I didnt make it. The buying process at Menards took over 45 mins because the people that work there are morons and cant tell directions. It was only the first of many set backs. I did try to get our bikes out and took them to the gas station to blow up the tires. Well that was a bad idea. The air machine must have been to strong or something, it almost instantly popped both tires. Yes I tried both, what can I say Im an Idiot.

We are still working on that whole getting dressed thing...

Well BizStream had the Friday off before the weekend so Memorial Day weekend turned into a 4 day mini vacation for us all. It was very nice to just sort of un-plug from work and not think about crazy client requests for a couple days.

We didnt do a whole lot. I spent a lot of time with the kids and MrsMcbeev on Friday. We went to the P-A-R-K as Maggie calls it, which was nice because most of the time I'm working when MrsMcbeev takes them. We were going to have my sister over for dinner but she moved it to Monday.

Saturday we had fun getting the Van fixed. 470 bucks to fix the front and back breaks. I'm not exactly thrilled with having an extended manufactures warranty that doesn't do crap. After we picked it up I organized a bunch of junk laying around in the garage.

Sunday my parents were nice enough to come over and babysit for us. The reason we needed babysitters is because MrsMcbeev finally agreed to go see Iron Man. And yeah it rocked.

I did watch a ton of sports too the whole weekend. Go Wings and go Pistons! I predict a sweep by the Wings and the Pistons to win in 7.

Things that I did this year, or had some help from MrsMcbeev that got done

1. Ran 700+ miles
2. Burned 100,000+ calories running (Thats 28 lbs people!)
3. Ran a Half Marathon (next year bring on the full!)
4. Lost close to 30 lbs (too bad some of it came back)
5. Finished the Avery basement (thanx Charlie, Jay, Mike, Moms and Dads)
6. Had a beautiful new baby girl
7. Bought a Minivan
8. Managed atleast 5 sub contractors who probably make more than I do
9. Became a legal business partner of the best software company ever, BizStream
10. Watched our first baby girl get one year older

There might be more but that's my list so far. It's been a good year.

A good time was had by all I think. We only had one minor problem, and that is when you are going to grill burgers and dogs you need propane in the tank to make the gas grill actually grill the food. So after a 15 min delay and a new tank of gas we were back on schedule. Maggie got a tricycle from us and a cool writing/drawing/coloring desk from Grandma and Grandpa and a cool little schoolbus from Aunt Christie. I think she really enjoyed the happy birthday singing as you can see below.

Audrey Marie McKeiver, born Aug 25th, 2007 @ 11:41 am. Audrey weighed 7 lbs., 8 ozs. and was 19 in. long. I have some great pictures and videos, however I left the camera at the hospital. So they will be coming in the next few days.
