Kentico Rocks Podcast Episode 26

Introduction

In this episode of Kentico Rocks, Brian McKeiver walks through how to enable Hot Reloading of your .Net Core MVC site that is based on the fantastic Kentico Kontent MVC Boilerplate. The good news is that the Boilerplate and Hot Reloading concept are updated for .Net Core 3.0 and ready for primetime. A big shout out to Rick Strahl, as his .Net Core middleware package is what makes this all possible.

Hot Reloading Your Kentico Kontent MVC Site

After reading Rick Strahl's blog post on how he created an ASP.NET Core MVC Live Reload Middleware Component, I was inspired to try it out. What better way to try it out, then to use the newly updated Kentico Kontent MVC boilerplate project. I was able to get it working within a few minutes and thought it might save others some time in their local development process, and the idea for this podcast episode was born.
