Presenting at a Few Upcoming Developer Conferences
Introduction
There are a few developer conferences that I will be presenting at in the next few days and weeks. The first one is actually coming up in just about a week from now. At the South Florida Code Camp I will be giving a new presentation that I am pretty excited about related to optimizing mobile pages of your site and/or cms. The SFCC event is happening on February 20th, 2016. It is billed as a free one day geekfest in Fort Lauderdale, FL on all things that developers are interested in .Net and beyond. Considering that right now as I write this it is 13 degrees in Michigan, a trip to Florida is going to be well worth it.
I almost forgot to mention that I will be joined by Kentico Technical Evangelist, Bryan Soltis, at SFCC as well. Bryan will be talking on Azure Search. There are some new ehancements to the Azure Search SDK that Bryan is going to show that will make it worth attending. We will also be doing our best to share some knowledge during our sessions, but also point out that Kentico just happens to one great ASP.NET CMS for deveopers to work with.
The second event that I will be presenting at is the annual GR DevDay 2016. This is my second favorite of event of the year because it is right here in my back yard in Grand Rapids, MI (first favorite being Kentico Connection). DevDay is coming up March 12th, 2016.
One other note about GR DevDay. BizStream is once again a platinum sponsor for the whole GR DevDay and GR DevNight series. We really believe this is the best event (and series of events) in West Michigan for developers to learn some new skills, mingle with the great development community, and of course check out our booth and learn a little about Kentico.

Right now, unless I decide there is a second topic that I want to present on, both sessions have the following abstract:
AMP up your Site with Accelerated Mobile PagesGoogle started AMP as an initiative to dramatically improve the performance of the mobile web. The main approach that AMP employs is placing HTML on a diet, in an attempt to gain breakneck speeds, for loading content on our mobile devices. This new open-source based framework throws out the standard approach to loading bloated CSS and JavaScript libraries and instead becomes a lean, mean superfast machine. Join me to find out what exactly are Accelerated Mobile Pages, what do they mean for search, and how can you prepare for it on your website?
